I am a Research Fellow at the Centre for Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety. My work involves the use of population-based data to investigate topics in pharmacoepidemiology and mental health epidemiology. My current research focuses on three areas: adverse outcomes associated with the use of antipsychotics in people with dementia, the use of prescribing safety indicators to reduce hazardous prescribing, and mental health of young people.
I was previously based at the Centre for Mental Health and Safety where much of my research was on the epidemiology of self-harm, suicide, and violence. I also worked on a longitudinal study of children and young people with a history of developmental language disorders, conducting statistical investigations into their psychosocial and educational outcomes.
