Kumar Pawan

Pawan Kumar was born in India, in 1986. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Himachal Pradesh University, India, in 2007 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the Jaypee University of Information Technology, India, in 2015. From 2015 to 2016, he was the Senior Project Scientist with the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, India. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Research Center for Engineering Science, Graduate School of Engineering and Resource Science, Akita University, Akita, Japan. His research interests include development of high resolution scanning probe microscopy techniques, applications of scanning probe microscopy to dielectric, magnetic thin films, magnetic recording head, and investigations of the nano-mechanical and surface properties at the nanometer scale.
