Paul Haase received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. In 2013, he joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich Hertz Institute, Berlin, where he is currently a Research Associate with the Video Coding and Analytics Department. He successfully contributed to the H.266/versatile video coding (VVC) standardization activity of the ITU-T Moving Pictures Experts Group. His research interests include efficient representations of deep neural networks, image and video compression, and entropy coding.
