Paul Bourgine

Paul Bourgine received the Ph.D. degree in economics and cognitive science. He has been the Director of CREA-Ecole Polytechnique and the National Network on Complex Systems, Paris, France. His current research interests include complex adaptive systems and large interaction networks. Dr. Bourgine was the Co-Chair of the first Conferences in Economics and Artificial Intelligence in 1986, the first European Conference of Artificial Life in 1990, the first European Conference in Cognitive Economics in 2004, and the European Conference on Complex Systems in 2005.
