My PhD dissertation was about Gordonia jacobaea and its ability to produce keto- carotenoids. During my PhD, began the studies of Ancient DNA from ancient microorganism. After my PhD a series of Stay in the University of Barcerlona began The main objective of these stays was the analysis of porins of different microorganisms and their role in substance transportation and antibiotic resistance. Also, a study for the utilization of exogenous porins together with antibiotics for increasing the efficiency of antibiotic chemotherapy was carried out.
