Patricia Severino is a group leader at the Research and Education Institute, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, Brazil. Her research group is currently working on the integration of clinical and molecular markers, including microbiota, for the molecular characterization of cancer and patterns of treatment response, and on the comprehension of host-pathogen interactions and genome diversity among opportunistic microorganisms in healthcare-associated infections.
