Pascal Coorevits

Pascal Coorevits was born in Ghent, Belgium, in 1975. He received the M.S. degree in motor rehabilitation and physiotherapy from the Ghent University, Belgium, in 1998, the B.S. degree in informatics from the CVO-IVV Institute in Ghent, Belgium, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in motor rehabilitation and physiotherapy from Ghent University, Belgium, in 2007. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Public Health, Ghent University, where he gives lectures in medical informatics and biostatistics. He is also Vice President of Research at The European Institute for Health Records (EuroRec). He has participated in several EU, national, and transatlantic eHealth research projects (e.g., ASSIST, EHR-Implement, EHR-QTN, ARGOS, HITCH, EHR4CR, SemanticHealthNet, EURECA, etc.).
