Research interests: biomedical science, cancer and infectious diseases
Dr Partha Mitra has more than 15 years of research experience in the field of biomedical science, particularly focusing on cancer and infectious diseases and published several research papers, book chapters, editorials and review articles. Currently, he is working as a scientist at a biotech company, Vaxxas, to develop the nanotechnology-based method of vaccine delivery funded by major funding agencies such as WHO, Gates Foundation, and Merck.Dr. Mitra developed a novel therapeutic model in estrogen positive breast cancer and became a recipient of a research project funded by Cancer Council Queensland and participated in significant academic and industry collaborations.
