Philip Stephens

Philip J. Stephens was born in Fort Collins, CO, in 1979. He received the B.S. degree in physics and the B.S. degree in computer science from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, in 2001. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in physics at Cambridge University, Cambridge, U.K. Currently, he is working on Monte Carlo collider simulations for upcoming Large Hadron Collider experiments at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) facilities. In 2001, he was with the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA), Colorado State University, at which time he worked on distributed systems and footprint-matching algorithms. Mr. Stephens is the recipient of a Cambridge Overseas Trust Scholarship.
