Prajwal D. Lakshmijayasimha

Prajwal D. Lakshmijayasimha received the Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in electronics and communication engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, India, in 2013, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical communication engineering from the University of Kassel, Kassel, Germany, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree in photonics communications from Photonics Systems and Sensing Laboratory (PSSL), Dublin City University, Ireland. In 2017, he joined Photonics Systems and Sensing Laboratory (PSSL), Dublin City University, Ireland for his Ph.D. degree. He was a Post Doctoral Researcher with PSSL, with research focus on reconfigurable multicarrier sources for next generation optical communication systems and authored or coauthored more than 30 articles in internationally peer-reviewed and conferences. He is currently an Optoelectronics Device Engineer with Eblana Photonics Ltd, Dublin. His research interests include semiconductor high speed lasers, optical injection locking, optical frequency combs for optical networks and mmW/THz generation for 6G and beyond.
