Bio

He is currently working on the development of blood-based biomarkers for use in patients who have undergone cystectomy for bladder cancer.
Tumour DNA in serum and plasma could be an early warning of cancer recurrence, before these lesions are big enough to see on conventional imaging. This would permit early and more targeted treatment of disease with conventional chemotherapy and newer immunotherapy drugs.
