Dr. Ou (Owen) LIU, is an Associate Professor in Information Management and Information Systems in International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. His current research interests include business intelligence/analytics, enterprise systems & security, mobile computing, social networks, and project management. He has published more than 40 refereed articles in journals and conferences, including Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Operational Research, IEEE Transactions on Systems Man and Cybernetics, Expert Systems with Applications, Communications of the Assoc for Info Systems, among others. His total citation is about 700 and H-index is 13 at google scholar.

Before he joined Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, he was an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University since 2007. He also has industrial experience in developing the R&D project management system for National Science Foundation of China, and a scholars’ social network ScholarMate, which involves big data analytics of social media.
