His research activities were focusing on crystal growth by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) and device fabrication of III-V and III-Nitride compound semiconductors including laser diodes (LDs), light emitting diodes (LEDs), solar cells (SCs), and high-electron mobility transistors (HEMTs). In Sony, he had an experience of basic research, R&D, and technology transfer as a project leader from R&Dtomanufacturing group.
