个人简介
Oriol has worked on the development of efficient Finite Element solvers for several problems, including: turbulent incompressible flows, free-surface flows or visco-elasto-plastic solids subject to large deformations. His current research focuses on the development of efficient and accurate numerical methods for multi-phase, multi-material and multi-physics problems appearing in engineering applications. In particular, he is interested in the simulation of fluid-structure interactions in applications with complex and evolving geometries. This includes the development of numerical methods to solve problems such as:
Free-surface flows interacting with structures
Interaction of floating bodies and free-surface flows
Structures with complex and evolving geometries subject to hydro/aerodynamic loads
Vortex-induced vibrations
