I am a veterinary clinical pathologist with passion and special research interest in vector-borne pathogens (Anaplasma, Theileria, haemotropic Mycoplasmas and Trypanosomes) that infect mammalian blood cells. Other research interests include bovine and equine clinical pathology, vector-borne pathogen genomics, transcriptomics, metagenomics, proteomics, epidemiology, machine learning, immunogenetics, and investigating the genetic and/or molecular basis of susceptibility to vector borne diseases
