My area of interest is related mainly to the control of mosquitoes and sandflies. In the lab, we evaluate chemical and biological products as larvicides against Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. We also study the association between sandflies, mosquitoes and their bacterial microbiota. An important area has been also studied as leishmaniases.
