Olivier Soppera

Olivier Soppera received the Graduate degree from Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan, Cachan, France. He received the Ph.D. degree in polymer and photochemistry from Université de Haute-Alsace, Mulhouse Cedex, France, in 2003 and then went to Porto University-Portugal for a postdoctoral position (European Marie Curie Grant). He joined CNRS in 2004 as a Senior Researcher. He is currently with the Institut de Sciences des Matériaux de Mulhouse (IS2M -- CNRS LRC 7228). He is heading a team of six permanent people devoted to develop photomaterials for applications in optics and nanotechnologies. His current research activities include photomaterials for micro- and nanofabrication for applications in optics, photonics, and biology. He is author or coauthor of more than 90 publications, and 3 patents and gave 12 invited talks on international conferences. He received an award for his Ph.D. (prix ADRERUS) and the Médaille de Bronze du CNRS in 2009 for his research work.
