Olgert Denas

Olgert Denas received the B.S. degree in information engineering and the M.S degree in computer science from the University of Padua, Padua, Italy, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in computer science at the Emory University, GA, USA. He was a Visiting Researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology and at the CAS-MPG Partner Institute for Computational Biology. He worked on efficient algorithms and data structures for feature extraction from text data. His current research interest includes feature extraction from functional genome data using deep learning architectures.
