Consultant in global public health epidemiology with a track record in implementation science and public health systems strengthening. Over the last 15 years, I have led multi-sectoral teams to develop and manage large donor-funded public health programs in Kenya to support the Ministry of Health (MoH) in scaling up robust evidence-based public health services. I am a strong advocate for evidence-based public health approaches to mitigating health challenges in resource-limited settings. I have interests in health systems research with experience in but but not limited to :asthma and allergic diseases in children; HIV case-based surveillance; youth HIV care; TB infection control; Kaposi’s Sarcoma treatment and outcomes; and integration of HIV services into child welfare clinics. I also have substantial experience in mentorship of health care providers and undergraduate medical students on health systems strengthening.
