Oihane C. Basurko

I received my PhD degree in the field of sustainability assessment of marine technologies at Newcastle University, UK (2010). I joined AZTI in 2010, and since, I have been involved on research projects related to fishing, aquaculture and shipping, particularly on their interaction with marine litter, energy efficiency, non-indigenous species, and on leading these industries and relevant administrations towards a sustainable development and management.
