Oleh Velychko

Oleh Velychko was born in Vinnytsa, Ukraine, in 1958. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in radio technology from the Kharkiv Radioelectronic Institute, Kharkiv, Ukraine, in 1980, the Ph.D. degree in electrical measurements from the Institute of Electrodynamics of National Academia of Science of Ukraine, Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1990, and the D.Sc. degree in metrology from National University Lviv Polytechnics, Lviv, Ukraine, in 2007. Since 2003, he has been the Director of the Institute of Electromagnetic Measurements, State Enterprise All-Ukrainian State Scientific and Production Center for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Consumer Rights Protection, SE Ukrmetrteststandard, Kyiv, Ukraine. Since 2012, he has been a Professor with the Measuring Instruments Department, Odesa State Academy of Technical Regulation and Quality, Odesa, Ukraine. He has authored more than 500 scientific publications. His current research interests include standards of units of electrical quantities, methodology of comparisons of standards.
