Sola-Valls Nuria

I started my training in the field of Neuroimmunology in 2012 with an clinical award from Hospital Clinic and then a predoctoral contract for research in Health (PFIS) of the Carlos III Health Institute, which allowed me to create a line of research in Neuroimmunology and develop my PhD on the use of telematic measures, including accelerometers to monitor patients with neurological autoimmune diseases (2021, University of Barcelona). During this period I obtained a master's degree in Neuroimmunology and a degree in Statistics, both from the Univerisdad Autónoma de Barcelona. I have conducted clinical trials and coordinated multicenter studies. I have participated as a lecturer in several master’s degrees and I am currently an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the Rovira i Virgili University. Since 2019 I have consolidated my professional career at the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus (Tarragona), where I have been able to participate in the development of a comprehensive care program for recently diagnosed patients with multiple sclerosis and I am helping to create of a multidisciplinary unit for the clinical management of these patients. I am a researcher at the Pere Virgili Institute for Health Research and during this period I have participated as a principal investigator in a funded clinical trial and as a sub-researcher in 2 multicenter studies. I am part of several scientific societies and I have experience in organizing and participating as a speaker in multiple sclerosis meetings.
