Noorfazila Binti Kamal was born in Perak, Malaysia, in 1979. She received the bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in computer engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from The University of Adelaide, Adelaide, SA, Australia, in 2013. In October 2005, she was granted a scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia to pursue her study at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Adelaide. Her Ph.D. work was part of the Gigabit Low-Cost Integrated Millimeter-Wave Radio (GLIMMR) project, which was funded by an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Research Grant, together with NHEW R&D Pty. Ltd., Australia. She has delivered presentations at a number of conferences in Adelaide, Canberra, and Kuala Lumpur. Her research involves frequency synthesis in a millimeter-wave RF transceiver.
