Professor Peled is a KOL in the field of thoracic oncology. He was s a board member at the International Association of Lung Cancer (IASLC) and the past-chair of its Screening & Early Detection committee. He was also act until recently as the Chair of the Thoracic Cancer Assembly of the European Thoracic Society.
Professor Peled’s research focuses on the wide translational and clinical perspectives of lung cancer, including personalized targeted therapy, immunotherapy, cancer evolution, biomarker development, and early detection of this disease. He has published more than 250 peer-reviewed articles, including guidelines on the early diagnosis of lung cancer, biomarker development, and treatment of advanced disease. Professor Peled is on the editorial board of numerous journals, including the Journal of Thoracic Oncology and other lung-cancer related journals.
