Currently, I am conducting a large scale psychological survey study (THORESCI) and a stress study (PSYCHE) in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) patients aiming to : (i) develop a sensitive and easy to implement screening instrument for emotional distress, (ii) examine psychological and psychobiological mechanisms of emotional distress and stress sensitivity after PCI and (iii) examine psychological determinants of adherence to cardiac rehabilitation and the effects on prognosis.
