Nicola Di Fidio currently works at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry of the University of Pisa, Italy. He is a member of Green Catalysis Research Group of Prof. Anna Maria Raspolli Galletti. His research project focused on innovative microwave-assisted chemical and biological catalytic approaches for the conversion of biomass into sugars, levulinic acid, formic acid, triglycerides and fatty acids methyl esters. Recent project focused on electro-oxidative depolymerisation of lignin into valuable aromatic compounds, in collaboration with Wageningen University & Research (WFBR Division). Nicola works in collaboration with Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies and the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA-Trisaia).
