个人简介
Niclas Lundsgaard was born in hilleroed, Denmark on the 17th of October, 1994. He moved to Brisbane, Australia, in 2004 where he still resides today. Niclas completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours Class 1 at The University of Queensland from 2013 - 2016, investigating the interactive effects of ultraviolet-B radiation and low temperature on the survival and immune function of Striped Marsh Frogs (Limnodynastes peronii), under the supervision of Professor Craig Franklin and Dr Rebecca Cramp. He has since completed his PhD (2017 - 2022), investigating the consequences of UV exposure regime on physiological carryover effects in amphibians, with multiple publications resulting. By bridging the gap between Ecology, physiology and conservation, Niclas is hoping to give insight into the environmental drivers shaping disease implicated amphibian declines. A passionate researcher nonetheless, Niclas enjoys spending his time off camping and exploring Australia's natural beauty and wildlife.
