Nicholas Nicoli is Associate Professor of Communication at the University of Nicosia. He is coordinator of the PhD Media and Communication Programme and Associate Head of the Department of Communication. His research focuses on communications policy, platform strategy and the platformisation of news. His current research addresses the political economy of platform power and its consequences for news media.
