Nghiem Trung Dung

Dr. Trung-Dung Nghiem is an associate professor and working at the School of Environmental Science and Technology (INEST), HUST in Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Hanoi, Vietnam. His working experiences are related to air pollution and environmental chemistry. His professional interests are toxic air pollutants including PM (PM10, PM2.5 and nanoparticles) and their chemical composition, PAHs; emission factors of air pollutants from various emission sources; co-benefits in air pollution control; receptor modelling; emission characterization of mobile sources; emission characterization of biomass burning; indoor air quality. Dr. Nghiem is the chief author of a book, contributes as co-authors to three book chapters. He has published more than 90 articles as author or co-author in peer-reviewed journals. He also has over 50 abstracts in international and national workshops/conferences. He has led or participated in 12 research projects, 5 of which involve international collaborations. He also participated in other 13 international projects conducted in Vietnam as national expert. Dr. Nghiem is member of the East Asia Nanoparticle Monitoring Network (EA-NanoNet). He is also the member of Vietnam Clean Air Partnership (VCAP). He is the former Dean (2015-2018) of the School of Environmental Science and Technology at HUST.
