He has served as President of the Heart Rhythm Society, Chair of the AHA Council of Clinical Cardiology, and Chairman of the Board of Moses Brown School. He serves as the Editor-In-Chief of the Cardiovascular Section of UpToDate, and on the editorial board of 11 journals. From 2017-2021 he served as Chair the AHA Scientific Publishing Committee. He is on the ABIM Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Test Writing Committees. He has been recognized as a Best Doctor in Boston (1997-2018) and Pittsburgh (2019-2020). He has over 600 publications including authorship or co-authorship of 9 books.
