Nataly Sayonara da Silva Melo

I hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine, and a master degree from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (2017). I am currently a PhD student at the Animal Bioscience program at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. During my undergraduate studies I developed teaching activities in the subjects of Applied Microbiology and Food Microbiology, and the Inspection of products of animal origin field. From 2013 to 2014, I owned a CAPES fellow scholarship, from the Science Without Borders Program at the University of Adelaide, Australia. I have experience in the areas of food microbiology and inspection of animal products. I am currently conducting research in the field of antimicrobial resistance from foodborne pathogens, such as Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.
