PhD in Molecular Biology, Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade (2015). Present position: Assistant Research Professor, LMM, IMGGE. Professional experience: Working experience (eight years) in the field of plant secondary metabolites with the application in food industry. During his PhD thesis, examined biological activities and gastrointestinal transformation of polyphenol compounds isolated from field pea. In recent few years intensively studied lactic acid bacteria, focusing on their probiotic properties, role in degradation of polyphenol compounds and their application as forage additives and starters for dairy products. Engaged in applicative projects studying microbial additives for fish feed and research involving development of biocontrol agents for beekeeping industries.
