个人简介
I utilize the nanobiotechnology concept to solve the problems human being is struggling to find solutions from disease diagnosis including cancer and infectious microorganisms causing ones to their treatment. For more than 15 years, I am actively involved getting funding and running a medium to large research group. I have extensive experience in applications of Raman Spectroscopy and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) in medicine for cancer diagnosis, detection and identification of pathogens, biofilms and proteins. Most recently, I am focusing on single cell analysis and early cancer detection using SERS.
My other research direction is the synthesis, self-assembly, and applications of novel nanomaterials and nanocarriers for cancer drug and gene delivery, which is an emerging field called nanomedicine. In this context, I also work to mitigate the toxicity of nanomaterial through safe-by-design approach and surface chemistry.
