Muhammad Sohail currently works at the Department of Microbiology, University of Karachi. Muhammad does research on the production of Microbial Enzymes, Biochemical characterization of enzymes and their applications. Their current project is about 'Plant cell-wall degrading enzymes from indigenous yeast strains" and "Fermentation of ionic liquid pretreated sugarcane bagasse for the production of thermostable cellulases".
