Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ahmad, is an environmental engineering professional graduated from Peking University, Beijing, China, that is ranked among World’s Top Universities. Currently, He is working as Professor at School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, BIT, China. He is author of 10 books and 100 SCI research articles that are published in Nature, Science, ACS, Elsevier and RSC. He is working as editorial boar members and active reviewer of multiple journals like Bioresource Technology, ACS ES&T, International Journal of Current Engineering etc. Presently, his research focus is water and wastewater treatment utilizing microbial and nanotechnology either alone or in hybrid form. However, considering the current situation of water scarcity and electricity, he is designing an integrated system for wastewater recycling and energy production based on microbial and nanotechnology, that will boost the world economy. He is very motivated to play a vital role to lead and develop highly skill man power and sustainable solutions of water and wastewater problems that consequently serve and assist humanity by providing them easy access to safe water resources. His research interests include (1) Design of Water & Wastewater Treatment Systems, (2) Production & Harvesting of renewable Energy, (3) Waste to Energy, (4) Bioplastics Production, (5) Hydrogen Production and Optimisation, (6) Biomass Energy, (7) Anaerobic Digestion (AD), Photocatalysis, Hydrogen Production, Hydrogen Evolution Reaction, Oxygen Evolution Reaction, Dyes Degradation, Nanomaterials Synthesis and their Environmental Applications, Catalysis etc.
