Ana Margarita Montalvo Alvarez

Ana Margarita Montalvo used to work at the Dept. of Parasitology, Inst of Trop Med Pedro Kouri in Havana. She has been enrolled in Parasitology and Molecular Biology studies. Mol diagnosis of infectious diseases, genotyping and real-time PCR in the study of parasites, mainly Leishmania and Trypanosoma, are among her research interests. She has experience in topics related to the ethics of investigation, and process surrounding clinical trials and their follow up.
