Momchil Minkov

Momchil Minkov received the B.S. degree in physics from Jacobs University Bremen, Bremen, Germany, in 2010, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the Swiss National Polytechnic Institute in Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Edward L. Ginzton Laboratory, Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA. He has authored or coauthored more than 30 peer-reviewed articles. His research interests include photonic crystals and their applications, time-modulated optical systems, topological photonics, machine learning, and inverse design. Dr. Minkov received two consecutive Swiss National Science Foundation Fellowships during his stay at Stanford University.
