Molly Candon, PhD is a research Assistant Professor at the Center for Mental Health in the Department of Psychiatry and an Assistant Professor of Health Care Management. The goal of Dr. Candon’s research is to identify ways to expand access and improve the quality of care delivered to patients with behavioral, cognitive, and chronic pain conditions. Ongoing projects examine psychotropic prescribing to patients with dementia, insurance coverage for acupuncture, nursing turnover, alternative payment models in Medicaid managed care, and suicide surveillance.
