Moisés Henrique Mastella

I graduated in Biological Sciences - Teaching (2013 - 2017) and a Bachelor's Degree (2018) - from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM-RS/Brazil). Master in Gerontology (2018) and Ph.D. in Pharmacology (2022) from the same institution. I am currently a Research Coordinator at the Center for Research, Teaching, and Technological Development (GERONTEC), in Manaus (Amazonas). I develop in vitro and in vivo studies, and clinical trials, especially linked to the understanding and applicability of the properties of Amazonian fruits to human health. In addition to biological aging and pharmacology, another area of interest is the study involving the central nervous system. I am one of those responsible for the development of an alternative animal model for the study of induced stress in evaluations of mitochondrial dysfunctions associated with neurological diseases in Eisenia fetida earthworms. I have experience in cell culture, biochemical, spectrophotometric, fluorimetric, and histological analyses, in addition to teaching.
