Mohammed Hossain

Mohammed Hossain is an Associate Professor in Accounting at Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), Kuwait. Before starting at GUST, he has held academic positions in several academic institutions including Australia, Oman, and Qatar. He earned his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Liverpool, the UK in 2008 and MPhil in Accounting from the University of Manchester, the UK in 2001. His research interests focus on CSR, business ethics, and corporate governance. His work has been published in leading journals such as Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, Business Strategy and the Environment, Advances in Accounting, Journal of Accounting and Organizational Change, International Journal of Accounting & Information Management, and Social Responsibility Journal. He is an associate member of CPA Australia and a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ).
