Research interest in plant virology lab is concerned with phyopathogenic viruses and the diseases they induce. I conduct molecular and applied research for identification and characterization of plant viruses with the ultimate goal of managing the diseases incited with these agents. I am also interested in other plant pathogenic agents such as bacteria and virus–like agents. So far, I have conducted research and published articles in specialized scientific journals in the area of plant viruses and phytopathogenic bacteria.
