Mohammad Mohiuddin Hasan

Mohammad Mohiuddin Hasan is a Bangladeshi Public Health professional with experience in healthcare administration, program management, and clinical care. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Rajshahi Medical College under Rajshahi University in 2011 and went on to complete a Masters of Public Health (Epidemiology) from the National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine (NIPSOM) under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Bangladesh in 2022. His thesis was on the " Perception and Practice of eHealth Service Delivery among the Health care providers at Upazila Health Complexes. " Dr Hasan has worked in various positions in the Bangladesh Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, including as Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer ( UH&FPO) in Sadar Chapainawabganj, Deputy Program Manager(DPM- Procurement and Asset Management) for Hospital Services Management and Assistant Chief (Statistics) for Management Information System at DGHS. He also worked as a lecturer in forensic medicine at Mugdha Medical College, Dhaka. He has demonstrated expertise working in the fields of Maternal and Child Health, Family Planning, Universal Health Coverage, Health Systems, Human Resources for Health, and Health Information Systems (HIS). My experience includes working with stakeholders from the Bangladesh government and from the funders (e.g., UNICEF, USAID, WHO, Save the Children, MSH) managing project terms in both scientific and managerial. Hasan has research skills in literature review, proposal writing, study design, protocol development, data analysis, report writing, and manuscript development. He is computer literate and proficient in Microsoft package, SPSS, R, and Python. He is fluent in English and Bengali. In his spare time, he has volunteered for various public health programs including as an outback information officer for COVID-19 and as a medical officer for Forcibly Displacement Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) to Bangladesh. He received training in health administration in Beijing, China, and ICD-11 coding in Tunis, Tunisia. He has also been selected for the advanced International Training Program in Sustainable Urban Water and Sanitation( SUWAS- Asia 2020D) by WaterAid and SIDA (Sweden). Hasan has authored several research articles including one on depression and anxiety among individuals with medical conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
