Mohamed Ragab

I am very familiar with quantitative and applied genetics, and big data analysis. I have been working as an associated professor of animal breeding and genetics. Also, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow (rabbit and pigs) at the Institute for Food and Agricultural Research and Technology (IRTA, Barcelona, Spain) at the Department of Animal Breeding and genetics. My primary research goals are directed toward understanding the basis of animal breeding and genetics. I was a postgraduate of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain, and hold a Master and PhD degrees in Animal Breeding (Quantitative Genetics) and Reproduction Biotechnology (from 2008-2012. Also, I have another Master in Poultry Breeding and Genetics for Kafr El Sheikh University, Egypt. Beyond my research successes, I have been fortunate to obtain a wide-range on teaching at some universities in Egypt and research experiences in Spain. My research experience has provided me with high experience in the analyses and statistical inference of quantitative genetic models as well as a high familiarization with a lot of software used in quantitative genetics models and planning, design, and conduct of genetic improvement programs. I had a high capacity for using some software for statistical analysis under Windows and Linux environments.
