Mohamed Kayid

M. Kayid received the B.Sc. degree in mathematics from Al Menia University, Egypt, in 1991, the M.Sc. degree in statistics from Al Azhar University, Egypt, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree in statistics from South Valley University, Egypt, in 2003. He is a Professor of Statistics at the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. His research interests are in reliability theory and preventive maintenance, stochastic orders, and their applications; and he has published in a variety of international journals on these issues. He is an elected Reviewer for the American Mathematical Society, and he is a director for the Accreditation and Assessment Unit at King Saud University.
