Mohamed Bouazaoui

Mohamed Bouazaoui received the doctorate degree in physics from University Claude Bernard Lyon-1, Lyon, France, in 1990. He is Professor and a member of the photonics research group of the Laboratory for the Physics of Lasers, Atoms and Molecules, University of Lille, Lille, France. He is the author of more than 150 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals. His research interests focus on optical materials (development of the Sol–Gel process for the achievement of nanoporous materials and high-purity glasses) and new optical components and devices. His current research activities consist in developing and studying optical glasses and fibers devoted to ionizing radiation dosimetry.
