Mohamed Abdel-Nasser

Mohamed Abdel-Nasser received the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from the University Rovira i Virgili (URV), Tarragona, Spain, in 2016. He has been a Postdoctoral Researcher with the URV since 2018, and an Assistant Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department, Aswan University, Egypt, since 2016. He has participated in several projects funded by the European Union and the Government of Spain. He has published more than 60 papers in international journals and conferences. He was the Manager of the E-learning and Digital Library Center, Aswan University, in 2018. His research interests include the application of machine learning and deep learning to several real-world problems, including smart grid analysis, time-series forecasting, and medical image analysis. DR. Abdel-Nasser received the Marc Esteva Vivanco prize for the best Ph.D. dissertation on Artificial Intelligence in 2017.
