Miroslaw Janowski

My education started in Poland. I have earned both a title of Medical Doctor from Medical University of Warsaw, and Master of Art in Psychology in 2001. Then, I pursued simultaneously residency in neurosurgery at the Medical University of Warsaw, which I completed in 2009 (Board Exam), and graduate studies at Mossakowski Medical Research Centre, Polish Academy of Sciences, with obtaining PhD title in 2010. In 2011, was accepted as a postdoctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins University, and in 2012 I was recruited there as a faculty member (Assistant Professor), followed by promotion to the position of Associate Professor in 2016. In 2019 I have been appointed as Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where I serve as a co-Director of Program in Image Guided Neurointerventions (PIGN).
