Witoś Mirosław

Mirosław Witoś received the M.S. degrees in aerospace engineering from the Military University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland in 1988, the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Air Force Institute of Technology, Warsaw, Poland in 1994, and the DSc degree (habilitated doctor) in mechanical engineering from AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow, Poland in 2017. He is the author/co-author of 12 books, more than 100 articles, and 5 patents. His research interests include non-destructive testing, structural health monitoring, and active control of material fatigue, risk, and safety using modern measurement and analytical capabilities, e.g. magnetic observer and expert systems. Prof. Witoś is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of KONBiN, International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (GAMM), European Structural Integrity Society (ESIS) and German Association for Materials Research and Testing (DVM) and reviewer for Publons
