Minyoung Song (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Korea University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2006 and 2013, respectively. He was a Visiting Scholar with the University of California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, from 2008 to 2009. He joined the University of California, Santa Cruz, CA, USA, as a Visiting Scholar, in 2012. He was a Senior Engineer with Samsung Electronics, Hwaseong, South Korea, from 2013 to 2016. He has been with imec, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, since 2016, where he is currently a Senior Researcher. His current research interests are energy-efficient digitally assisted radio frequency IC (RFIC) for biomedical and Internet of Things (IoT) applications, frequency synthesizers/clock generators, and high-speed wireline transceivers. Dr. Song was a recipient of the IEEE Seoul Section Student Paper Contest Bronze Award in 2007 and 2010.
