Minqi Zhong

Minqi Zhong (Member, IEEE) is currently an Engineer with Southern California Edison that primarily focuses on the impact that more renewable energy and DERs have on the grid. She works on testing the ADMS advanced applications, validating and benchmarking the ADMS simulation results against the true results. She also works on the development of an in-house simplified DERMS that monitors and sends charging constraint to the DERs to ensure the reliability of the Edison grid. Before Southern California Edison, she worked for Electric Reliability Council of Texas performing reliability and economic analysis on the ERCOT transmission systems.
